The river Opala  flows in the southwest of Kamchatka mountainous region and falls into the Sea of Okhotsk. It’s length is 120km. It’s width is from 50 to 100m. The speed of the flow is 0,5–2m/s, the temperature of the water no more then 7-  8˚C. The river located in uninhabited area. The transportation to the fishing place and back is possible only by helicopter. Rafting begins in the upper reaches Opala to the Verkhne- Opalinskye hot sources. One of the rafting place goes through the old caldera’s of Opala volcano, very close to its hills. The river is filled with a great variety of salmon and trout, that’s why it is not a problem to find a place for fishing. The combination of perfect fishing and  bright  and wild nature make a very attractive site. Some days of rafting finish quick and on the back way by helicopter you’ll see the place of fishing. The distance of the fishing area is about 50 km. The river Opala offers fishing for Chinook, Sockeye, Chum, Pink salmon, Coho,  Rainbow trout, White-spotted char, Dolly Varden char.

Day 1. Meeting at the airport Elizovo. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2. After breakfast transportation to the Opala river by helicopter.  Preparation to the rafting. Fishing is from the coast. Dinner and supper on the river bank.  Overnight in the tents.

Day 3 – 7. Floating down the Opala river  (80km) and fishing. Rafting along the wild and picturesque river.

Day 8. Back way to the city.

Day 9 - 10. Free days. You can reserve helicopter excursion to the Valley of Geysers in a case of good weather or marine excursion or Excursion along Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky or additional day for fishing.

Day 11. Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for departure.

The following is included:

• all transportation
• services of the attending personal (a guide, a cook, an interpreter)
• accommodation in the recreation base and hotel, reservation of the room
• registration, payment of license, any fees
• camping gear except sleeping bag and mat
• full board en route

The following is not included:

Accommodation on the route for 2-, 3-, 4- persons of the tents, at the route you are offered fresh prepared  dishes. We provide all camping gear except sleeping bag and mat.

Additional information:
Each tourist is necessary  to have rucksack, sleeping bag and sleeping mat; a spoon, a cup;  firm boots, waterproofs (jacket and trousers), socks, thick sweater/fleece jacket, wool or polarfleece hat and sunhat/visor, gloves,  sunglasses/sun protection/sunblock,  insect repellent and a Mosquito Net, your personal belongings.
